Got Questions About Online Teacher Certification?

We know that there can be several online teacher certification programs to choose from, and some people have never even heard of alternative certification for teachers. So we are here to help answer some of the top questions.

How Much Does Online Teacher Certification Cost?

Our price is $4899 or $4399. We have two payment options to fit your budget, you can pay a flat enrollment fee of $250 and pay the remaining balance of $4500 in 10 interest-free payments of $450. Or, you can pay $99 a month, and when you get hired to teach, you pay your remaining balance in 8-10 interest-free payments.

How long will it take to complete your accredited teacher certification program?

We get this question all the time. On average, it takes 12 months to complete our program. It is designed to be completed in a year, but some people take a little less time, and others a little longer.

Can the program be taken while working a full-time Job?

Yes! The coursework was written and designed to be completed while you are either working a full-time job, or teaching full-time. The goal of our founder was to have an affordable program that could be completed by someone who was working and had to balance work, school, and family.

What are Observation Hours?

Observation hours are you observing other teachers teach. This can be started as soon as you enroll and gain access to The Teaching Channel. Up to 15 hours of observation can be done online, and 15 hours of observation has to be done in person to complete your 30 hours of observation.

Is the program Accredited?

Yes. Our program is nationally accredited by CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation). CAEP stands on a strong foundation and rich history of accreditation in teacher and educator preparation. CAEP seeks to increase the value of accreditation and to increase participation, building on the decades of institutional knowledge of education’s previous accreditors.

Do I have to have a Bachelor’s Degree?

Yes. A bachelor’s degree is required and there are GPA minimum requirements. Most states require a 2.5 minimum GPA while others require a 2.75 minimum GPA. These requirements are for the last 60 hours of your degree.

At iteach, we want to give you a high quality program that is nationally accredited. Individuals are given a complete plan as well as a supervisor that is assigned to them to help answer questions along the way.
