The first step is to complete the online application and provide the required documents to the iteach office.
Enrollment
iteach West Virginia offers seven online instructional courses that prepare you to be an excellent classroom teacher. The courses are self-paced; you can login to complete them at any time, from anywhere.
The courses are written by experienced education experts and are teacher-friendly and practical. Each course is taken in sequence; you cannot begin your next course until your current one is completed.
Praxis I (CORE)
The West Virginia Department of Education requires either the Praxis I (CORE) exam or evidence of an approved exemption for program eligibility. Read about the requirements for admission here.
Praxis II Subject Exams
iteach West Virginia offers certifications in many subject areas. You must submit at least one Praxis II passing score in order to be eligible for licensure.
